This was built for Mrs Gilberte Stempert in c.1955 and she raced it with some moderate success. She also had a one-off Dyna Junior coupe built for her by Barboni (seen here already) and her husband Raymond had one, possibly two, other Dynas with Barboni coachwork that he raced (also seen here).
I'm not sure what the relationship between the Stemperts and Barboni was - I've never seen or heard of a car with Barboni coachwork that wasn't built for them - so maybe a local bodyshop who branched out into building complete bodies? Whatever the case they did a damn fine job, the Barboni-Stempert cars are some of the prettiest special bodied Dynas out there.
