This vehicle was featured in "The lakeville Journal" in the late 50s...I know it was built around a Saab 93 and I have a side view of it but not a name.

The Quantum puzzle (KU #1604) has gone missing.

The pics are still on the server, but the puzzle - kaput!

If it'll help, I know old SAABs really well - the car in the top pic does not appear to have SAAB wheels and has some strange hubs sticking way outward.

The next 2 cars do have SAAB wheels and hub caps.
Hope this helps.

'In Brazil, the first competition of this kind (Arrancada) happened in Curitiba, in February 1958. The dispute, then called  “Primeiro Quilômetro Parado de Curitiba” was held in a 1,000 metres track, and highlight the prototype 'Semi Suicide Special' by Marcos Corção, piloted by Albert "Totty" Glaser Júnior, Brazilian recordman in Força Livre category with a time of 29 seconds and final speed of almost 200 km/h. "Totty" Glaser is now the owner of the most highly regarded company building Hot Rods of Brazil.
