Let's just say it is a Hanomag-Henschel with a Orion camper body.

It is a Schäfer Orion I based on a chassis that was built by Hanomag (F 20 or F 25) at the time the Orion I appeared in 1968. So it could have either an Austin A60 gasoline engine or a Hanomag D301E2 diesel engine. In 1969 Hanomag merged with Henschel to the new make Hanomag-Henschel whose majority belonged to Mercedes-Benz. Soon the Hanomag Diesel engine was replaced by the Mercedes-Benz OM615. By the time the Hanomag-Henschel changed their name again, this time to become Mercedes-Benz, Ferdinand Schäfer had already introduced the Orion II with a front like the Hanomag-Henschel. The Orion I started with rounded headlamps as in the above picture. Later on, it was available with rectangular headlights as can be seen below.

Well, the chassis has been identified as Hanomag-Henschel - I am pretty sure that is correct. As for the engine: Anything goes ;)

...an Austin A60 gasoline engine...

:o Wow. That must be deeply, deeply unpleasant to drive!

And let's just mention here that Orion campers were produced in Hungary between cca 1972-1974 at the Balatonfüred Ship Factory. Two shells are known to survive.

If someone got time, I'd like to ask assistance on researching this in Germany.
