It's a Jaguar powered special built from the scratch by Robert Quelch from 1964 to 1974. The wheels and the whole interior incl. seats and steering wheel were made by him. The overall styling refers to cars of the sixties like period Maserati racing cars. The car is 40" high same as the GT40. Visibility is poor due to the height of the XK engine. The overall styling is very much a product of the 1960s a little like the racing Maserati of that time. The number plate was picked out by staff at the local motor registry office and kept for this car, it wasnt Bobs idea it just happened when they found out about what type of car was to be registered. The gull wing doors are hydraulically operated. It took him 700 hrs to get them work perfectly.
