No welcome from the rookies, maybe the Eperts are happy to see me  ;D

D-type

A project built by a cyclist recovering from a nasty accident.   ;)

I hope you're well on the mend now

The front appears to be a lens. Some sort of flashlight?
You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

grobmotorix

looks like a 1960´s plastic toy car with an integrated light.
I´m quite sure I´ve seen it in an old ad before...

mymokke

Is this a manufacturers promotional model?

Amsterdam?  :bump:

Sorry Arunas. I do not have much time left these days to be on line as much as I use to.

Its no Sparlingco.
grobmotorix is the closest so far. It is indeed from an old ad dated from the sixties.not really sure if it is a plastic toy car or a manufacturers promotional model.
The name of the car is on the front of the car in the original picture and year and the event the ad was for are mentioned.

Thank you SACO! your post led me to the solution.
The puzzle picture is of an advertisement model by CIBIE from October 1962.

It is indeed the CIBIE (carlight manufacturer) promotional ad car from October 1962.
As SACO did most of the work and mymokke found the actual ad, both one point

mymokke

Thank you, and very honorable to issue SACO a point also. Without his post I may not have solved to puzzle.
