I think I remember someone building something like this in Alma Road, St Albans. Called it Buroche for some reason.

That is not this one. According to the story, the strange name had somehow to do with the color he painted it, although built in the UK the name does not sound English to me at all.

That's indeed what it sounds like.The first part of the name is slightly differnt, and the second part is a little shorter and relates also to a type of beer.

Oh, and do not drink Oranjeboom. it is horrible.
