Thank you. We ought to know our Rembrandts don't we?
We sure do!
You sure don't!!
The car pictured
is the Pelland Sports. The Rembrandt didn't have the teardrop intakes ahead of the rear wings. Additionally the Rembrandt was marketed by Rob Ryder of Coventry England, (Ryder Designs), who bought the manufacturing rights from Pelland Engineering before Peter Pellandine went back to Australia.
The car pictured is the original Pelland Sports demonstrator, registration number GSX 970F. The car was sold on to Ryder Designs and eventually to Grahams Autos as the manufacturing rights were sold on through the years. The picture appeared in the Graham's Auto's brochure. I own this car now but in fact there are three known bodyshells that wore the same registration number...all were powder blue in colour. One was cut up to produce the new moulds for the Dash and one was cut up in an aborted attempt to convert from VW to Ford X-flow power. I have the third shell and the all important log book
