It should be a repost, but knowing the story of this car you never can tell...

Yes, it was marketed as the Pelland Sports. this one I have under a different name, under which it was designed and built. Do you know which name that was?

You sure don't!!  ;)

The car pictured is the Pelland Sports.  The Rembrandt didn't have the teardrop intakes ahead of the rear wings.  Additionally the Rembrandt was marketed by Rob Ryder of Coventry England, (Ryder Designs), who bought the manufacturing rights from Pelland Engineering before Peter Pellandine went back to Australia.

The car pictured is the original Pelland Sports demonstrator, registration number GSX 970F.  The car was sold on to Ryder Designs and eventually to Grahams Autos as the manufacturing rights were sold on through the years.  The picture appeared in the Graham's Auto's brochure.  I own this car now but in fact there are three known bodyshells that wore the same registration number...all were powder blue in colour.  One was cut up to produce the new moulds for the Dash and one was cut up in an aborted attempt to convert from VW to Ford X-flow power.  I have the third shell and the all important log book ;D

but that is all I had. Do you have any pictures of the differences?

That's the Graham's Autos brochure although GA copied a lot of Ryder Designs blurb.  I've added some more info above.

Outwardly the principal differences are the side air intakes...both Ryder Designs and GA cars did  not have the intakes.  Interestingly enough the car that Peter Pellandine produced in Australia didn't have the intakes either....it was only the UK produced Pellands that had them.  Other differences are on the Alfa Romeo powered cars which had a third access panel behind the cockpit along with a larger access panel in the front nose.

The website for the Pelland Rembrandt Register is due for launch soon and I'll post a link with all the pics included.

Than it's probably a repost. Or is it not?

The car pictured above is a Pelland Sports and, although the picture was taken in the UK, the owner now lives in Dana Point, California and took the car along with three others he owns with him.
