Here are some cars with unusual wheel arrangements - numbered by how many wheels they have (I think...).

All you need to do is identify each one as accurately as possible and you'll get a point for each!

#2.0a is a gyrocar from Gyro Transport Systems of Northridge, California. It was called the Gyro-X and designed by Alex Tremulis.

0 is a Bus Ball by Corky Corker which consists of a VW Microbus chopped and comes with only a single seat, a narrow-rimmed steering wheel and the well-known VW logo at the 'front'.

12 is The Landmaster, designed by Dean Jeffires, from "Damnation Alley"

I'll sit back and watch for a while, because surely Quiller has forgotten to demand the same level of detail for the other vehicles posted.

Or, perhaps the object is to wait for somebody else to ID a car, look up an additional detail, and steal their point?   :huh:

Don't know what exactly you're referring to with the "level of detail". Surely, the name of the artist that created the VW ball is more important in identifying it than the owner. Lars-Erik Fisk is a guy well known for making balls from everything possible, so it wasn't that difficult to find him.

Besides, I waited 36 hours with my reply, so you had a chance :P

I wasn't at home and I remembered that name, sure that  I got the car and If something was (slightly) wrong I would have the chance to change it as it always happen.
But, that's your puzzle, it goes under your rules and if this is how you rule it, I'm fine with that.

If I remember well Paul, in your reply, 61 seconds before mine, you said something wrong like "Louis Brennan's gyrocar" (wich is another car) mixed with someting right (Gyro Transports System). You edited it and erased the Brennan part.
Well, I edited my post too and attributed the design to Tremulis (before I had just said he was involved I think).

I don't care who gets this point, but I want you to know that I didn't google your answer to find mine: I wouldn't have had time. I recognized the car and had a bookmarked page where I knew i could find the exact ID.

I wrote Brennabor Gyrocar at the beginning and changed it right after...my memory sometimes defeats me!
The point is ...not the point! I mean this is Quiller call, my opinion is "Gyro Transport Systems Gyrocar" is not correct, but i don't think that there are many Gyrocars made by Gyro Transport Systems! It's like someone wrote Lanborghini or Perrari! It was wrong and with a really quick correction it could be fixed. But, once again, I'm fine with that.
@Quiller , you have to hope that all the other members will not be as precise as you are! I won't.

The puzzle question posed was "be as accurate as you can", not "name the vehicle and it's builder".

End of the day, it's Quiller's puzzle, and I'll abide by his decision.  :)

Sure, but I found the real builder of the car instantly after reading your second reply, when I googled the Billy Gibbons link. I was tempted to post it instantly, but thought that Quiller is going to lock this one for you, so I didn't.
