1 point to the puzzler who can identify the pilot who drove this race car. I know his name, not his face, and he's not necessarily the man you see here.
1 point if you can give the make and name of the car. This I have no idea of.

I have searched further and I have a name for ther car: it's not a Simca, and if Luigi Colani worked on that car it would have been at the very beginning of his career.

I checked and found a picture of the MAZ 1500. It's obviously not the same car although I admit there are similarities in design.

I am not at home and can't access my sources. Here I have only a model name. I will be able to confirm this when I get home. If it's not Skoda, it is the same country anyway. You may have it easier by searching the pilot's name first.
