So is it what it's made of? Are the chassis and mechanicals made of an aluminium alloy, or something of that type?

I was going to declare this solved as a Pierce Arrow with aluminium Alcoa chassis, but after re-reading I see that the first (4 cylinder) cars were not Pierce Arrow's at all  ;)
