Was it intended for military use?
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

This one has lay dormant for over ten months, so can I bring it back to life by suggesting this is some sort of military vehicle by Fornasari?
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

This is a strange enough vehicle, we should include more technical details.

In 1998, The Department of Defense awarded $747,913.00 to Davis Technologies of Texas, to develop a Hybrid Electric High Mobility Scout Mongrel Vehicle with Active Suspension.  During 1996, Davis Technologies was also awarded $280,900 for development of technologies planned for use in this vehicle.

This vehicle was not actually finished.  It was offered for sale in an ebay auction, without a battery pack, and with some technical issues not resolved.  (Perhaps Canfield finished it?)

The onboard generator was a 1.9 liter VW Turbo-Diesel engine.  Electric in-wheel motors were used on each corner.
