Yes, I've put it in the wrong category. It really should be a rookie puzzle. But you're so quick I never had time to move it... But since it was so easy, the least I can expect is for you to give me the correct model designation!

some interisting background facts (?) I've found by accident:
How reliable can it be when they talk about a certain "Piero Michelotti"...? And about an "original" BMW M1 which wasn't designed by Michelotti, but by Giugiaro. (Michelotti only built the Bracq designed BMW Turbo)

There were two, right? One's in Munich (where it should be) and the other in the US BMW plant, as I understand it.

I've been thinking a lot about Bracq's Turbo design in the last few days - I suspect you have been, too.

Yes there were two BMWturbo. (the concept car X1 – not the 2002turbo)

One bright red one with orange bumpers and a second one with gradient color and back wheel covers.

I do not know for sure if both were built in the Michelotti workshop, but believe it only was the first one.
