This is a service truck conversion of a pre-1924 Duesenberg Model A (even though Duesenberg didn't call them "Model A", that's how they are identified now). It was done by the Beverly Body Works for the extensive distributorship of The Duesenberg California Co., and was likely done in 1924 or 1925. A real classic, it would be great if this car still existed. I don't know if it does. Many of the large classics from the 1920's (Packards. Pierce-Arrows, Cadillacs, etc.) were made into tow cars and service trucks later in their lives, but this one was done when it was new or nearly so.
