time frame 1920-1925?
Title: Re: PJ - 298
Post by: Paul Jaray on April 26, 2010, 11:20:43 AM
The time range is correct for this car.
The builder made different cars, some of them reached a very limited production, others were just one-offs.
I'm not sure this one was produced.

Title: Re: PJ - 298
Post by: Paul Jaray on April 26, 2010, 12:41:31 PM
Yes, and misteriously called Cockerell in many sources.
This car, 904cc, was built in 1924 and following cars had 2, 5, 6 or 8 cylinerds, FWD or RWD, 4-wheelers or 3-wheelers... it seems like Mr. Friedrich Gockerell was not sure about the best way to proceed!
Well done, another point for you!

The last evolution of the Gockerell car had a V8 two-stroke engine (!). Friedrich Gockerell made his experiences while crossing the Alps with this car and he modified it step by step..

I'm not sure if this car wasn't built in Munich, but in Nuremberg
