Most probable it's a factory prototype, but the owner of the site doesn't know much about the car.
The Fairlady trace is a good one...

The prototype Alpha A80X is quite different, but this one should be the other project, also called Alpha, from 1959 then.
(Nissan had previously employed Yuichi Ohta of Alpha Motors to develop the S211, SPL212 & SPL213 model from Ohta's original A80X prototype.)

I guess you're right though my knowledge on this car is very limited.
I have it only as Datsun Fairlady prototype probably built between 1958-1960
