I have found more information on this unusual car.
It was built by Austin Farrar of Wolverstone Shipyard Ltd., Ipswich with a chassis constructed by W.J. Coe Ltd., Ipswich and owned by Bill Bunbury.
The car was named the F.C.B. (Farrar/Coe/Bunbury) and was completed in 1956.
As stated the body was of laminated wood.
Powered by a tuned Standard Ten engine, the transmission, steering and suspension also came from this car.
The F.C.B. was raced at a high speed trial at Snetterton on 15th. April 1956 driven by Jack Sears.
