I hope you enjoied it and you can see the utility of that system, when fully operative ('self-built car' tag active, for example...)
And finally this one can go to sleep...

I'll try to translate it, but I'm afraid it will take some time. There's many technical stuff and lots of idiomatic terms in the text.
Any chance that someone of the native speakers finish my raw version later?

Juni 2017 beim BMW-Jubiläumsfest in Landshut.

(via Google translator)

The "Auto - Motor - Sport" called him "the thing from Dingolfing". What was meant was the glass 1304 TS built in the mid-1960s.
The inconspicuous power dwarf was ahead of his time: He already had five gears and a timing belt.
Claus Albrecht from Möhrendorf near Erlangen was a car manufacturer who saw the opportunity to give free rein to creativity at the 1304 TS. He took the glass burr and surrounded it with a chassis that he designed to his own taste. As a windshield he used the rear window of the VW Karmann 1500, the drum brakes came from the Borgward Isabella. Until three years ago, this vehicle had TÜV. Of course, there was little driving. Only 36 000 kilometers is the mileage.
To date, Claus Albrecht and his vehicle brand Eigenbau in Dingolfing were unknown. Now the car is to admire with us. It will be exhibited on May 28, 2017 at the BMW Family Festival in Dingolfing and on June 25, 2017 at the BMW anniversary celebration in Landshut.
Claus Albrecht is now dead and the car is owned by the city of Dingolfing. He is a legacy of the Möhrendorfer Autobastlers.

He took the chassis and surrounded it with a glass-fibre body that he designed to his own taste. For the windshield he used the rear window of a VW Karmann-Ghia 1500, the drum brakes came from the Borgward Isabella. Until three years ago, this vehicle had a TÜV. Of course, it was not driven much. Only 36 000 kilometers is the mileage.
