A point for correctly identifying this car thing.

I haven't been able to find out anything about this, other than finding a photo of a similar device.

It's referred to as a Daimler Motorized Perambulator, from about 1910 to 1912. The page where I found the picture says it's electric, but I think it looks more like it has a small petrol engine.

An absolutely spiffing labour-saving device, but I guess it never really caught on.  :-\

That is a very nice photo! You are very close, so I'll lock it for you  ;)

My vehicle has a similar logo on the petrol tank. I don't think it says Daimler, however....

Well, that just goes to show that you shouldn't believe everything you read on web pages.  :-\

I see now that the name is not Daimler, it's made by W.H. Dunkley of Birmingham, UK. The puzzle vehicle is a Dunkley Pramotor, powered by a 1hp Simplex engine, and being scrutinised at the 1922 Motor Show (presumably at Olympia) by, among others, the Duke of York, later to become King George VI.

Dunkley were apparently considered a premier manufacturer of prams, but went on to produce small motorcycles in the 1950s, such as the 60cc Dunkley Whippet.
