The boys at Ford were smoking something powerful, for sure. Hard is it may be to conceive, within the next 1/2 dozen years, they would be producing cars that made this ill-conceived "Mustang" look beautiful.

Was this an internal Ford job, or styled by Ghia.  I hope for the sake of the latter that it wasn't them!

Pretty sure it was an own goal!
If it was Ghia they must have since disowned it as can't find any mention of them..
