I would think it was the sketch for the '63 Corvette Stingray, probably by Larry Shinoda.

More 'Vette proposals in the flesh (clay? fiberglass?), including a clay example from 1958 that just about matches this sketch and predicts most of the C2's looks, can be seen here:
