It's certainly interesting, but i've never really liked it. The front end of these cars are very ugly in my opinion, and the other coupe with the side windows rather than butresses looks a lot better. From that strange time when Italian stylists seemed to be mimicking american design rather unsuccessfully!

Yes; this was a fairly early example of the buttresses which PF experimented with a lot on one-off Ferraris etc in the mid 1950's, and of course which went on to be used so successfully on the Dino 246GT; after that they became much more conventional.
