This is a prototype of a Mini-based GRP car built by Marcos in 1969, under the direction of BLMC, for a proposed new car to be built in Israel by Autocars. After 4 prototypes were built, the project was cancelled and BLMC sold it's stake in Autocars to Rom Carmel.

This is not the estate, but the later hatchback version.

Yes, that's technically right.
4 prototypes were built on the Mini Estate platform, which is why it got that heading.
Only 3 of them were actually estate cars with the puzzle car being the 4th, a hatchback.
The hatchback design was apparently sold on to a firm in America who made an electric-engined variant of it.
