Is it the Michelotti designed Triumph Lynx concept?

No, but it is a Triumph and Michelotti did have a hand in it, although it's only partly his.

I think I have it this time - Triumph Puma, based on Michelotti's Lynx with assistance from Les Moore at Triumph with subsequent tweaking by William Towns

That's it.
It dates from the late 1960's but became a victim of all the amalgamations going on at the time which left the behemoth with various different proposals all to do the same job..  This was to be the replacement for the Triumph 2000.

So to avoid competing with themselves some of them had to get the chop, and this was one of them.
