The obvious answer considering the position of the steering wheel would be that it is a British van. But I remembered Lancia also had the steering wheel there, so maybe Italian?

Actually it never was; even though they drove on the left the cars were always LHD.
Don't ask me why!
In any case Scandinavia has already been discounted, which includes Sweden!

The way it stands on it wheels does remind of the likes of the Austin J2. The front part looks quite K8-ish

Is it from BLMC?

Sorry but you've been beaten to it!
Barrett is indeed right - it's a Land-Rover and I'm giving him the point for that answer because there isn't much more that can be said about it.

It was a factory prototype mini-bus based on the forward-control Land-Rover made in the '60s mainly for the military but also for various utilities such as fire brigades.  Many found their way into private hands after serving out their time.

Seems it remained a one-off.

That was all the info I could find, although I didn't look too hard. ''Land-Rover foward control bus'' and not even a year  ::)
