Not a repost....

It looked familiar but I couldn't find anything that matched the name..!
Wonder if it'll reach the pro's so you can tell us what it is?!

'53 Issi from Italy?

Yes, it's an Italian Issi.
Can you give a model name for that point?
Locked for your reply.

P.S. This puzzle is locked for MG Manic until he replies correctly or incorrectly or until I say it's unlocked again -  not for any specific time!

Microbo or Microbo 125........

No, it's not that one.  Think we've had that one before..

Will give you another go so you have 24 hours this time!

On further investigation don't think this car was made by ISSI, although there does seem to be some link between the makers..

So it's a different name I'm looking for, with a link to ISSI...

Still locked for MG Manic's reply because he is on the right track.

Boy, you've got me Carnut. The only source I can find to this thing lists it as an Issi. They only made two models from '53-'54 and the other one is the Microbo, but if that's not what this is, I'll have to keep digging, I guess.

Yes - to be frank I thought it was an ISSI too and have seen it described as such on at least 2 different websites.
But I have it on good authority that it's not!
So keep on digging - the answer is out there!

This is the Cingolani, a 3-wheeler Vespa-engined named after its creator, (who later built the Microbo?), and remained a prototype. Copied from Post A#208

Yes, that is what it is!
I was unaware of Post A#208 when I posted the puzzle but I have gleaned info from it since.
Have a look at the post at:

There's lots of interesting info about ISSI and Cingolani there!
