Curb your cursing. Perhaps the lack of response is attributable to small, fuzzy photos and drawings you post in large groupings. An occasional gem is more appreciated than a bounty of marginally viewable puzzles. As was disucssed in the "too much" thread:

Rather than block Rookies from posting puzzles, I would have favored a "solve a puzzle - post a puzzle" rule. If you want to post one, you gotta solve one. That could would work for Experts and Pros, too.

My 2 cents.
I had been thinking of this, but it would hard on the Pros (who seldom get to solve a puzzle, guess who excepted). And would all of them (guess who again excepted) be blocked at 200/300 puzzles after months ot years of participation to the site? You're over 1000 already, and @re is over 500.

To me the idea of restricting the posting to Experts and Pro is mostly to give the Rookies time to learn the ropes.

I see the "more-or-less ten unsolved rule" as the only way to answer the "too much" issue. It shouldn't be enforced, only a good will rule, but inscribed in the Rules topic of each section.

My 2 cents again.

Two things come to mind: Vokaro and electric.  My senior brain can't connect those thoughts to a good answer.

Unfortunately neither Vokaro, nor electric car.

Was gonna say Pioneer Roadster, but that is electric and you say this is not...which tells me the Pioneer is actually based on whatever this is (what the Lotus Elise is to the Tesla Roadster, I suppose).

...In fact I have not found anything other than to say this is the spitting Image of the 1959 Pioneer roadster (removal hardtop) built by the Nic-L-Silver Battery Company

I say this is a 1957 Alken.

All I know is that it's American and has a fiberglass body.

1958-1959 Alken Coporation, Venice, California

One of the first kitcar bodies for the VW Beetle platform, the Alken  was a high-quality fiberglass convertible with a removable hardtop. Penned by industrial designer Bill Pierson it was attractive and sold well after a positive road test by Road & Track magazine in 1958. It could be assembled in 19 hours - much better than average kit in 1958.
