It is the Henry Fry Racing One (HNR1) on Lagonda Chassis number LB 290-11-57
Yes, that's the car.
It was built in 1947 when Lagonda were in receivership. The remaining staff used the chasses (no. LBS/ESX1) from the Lagonda-Bentley prototype and re-numbered it LB290/1/157, using the engine from the Lagonda 2.6 prototype to power it. Rolls-Royce Motors took exception to this, suing them for pinching their car and converting it, which when they won brought about the final collapse of Lagonda (which of course was bought by David Brown to add to Aston-Martin).
HNR 1 was only used on the car in the US; its real UK registration number was WKX 428 which, as all genuine anoraks will know, was a Buckinghamshire registration!
