Isn't that a Lotus Elan Coupe?
It's as much fun to scare as to be scared

No (think it might have been a re-post if it was..)

Wow! Never expected it would survive.

It's the backview of the Yamaha A550X, the predecessor of the more common Nissan 2000 GT prototype.
These cars were designed by Count Graf von Goertz.

Yes, that's the car, although haven't actually seen it referred to as a Yamaha.
It was a joint venture between Yamaha and Nissan but Yamaha were ditched as their engine was deemed not up to the job.
Hence it is a Nissan 2000GT proposal, which of course heavily influenced the eventual 240Z.

Here's a front view of what is a very attractive car in my opinion:

I Think the Nissan GT is the later black painted car!

You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

Looks like it might be.
I had it as a Nissan 2000GT and a Search for that produced no result.
A search for the Yamaha A 550X would have produced the result, but that wasn't the name I had for it..
Looks like it should maybe be merged then?
