This car was apparently a private commission by German Maserati concessionaires Auto König for one of their customers, Herr Rupertzhoven.  It was based on the Maserati Mexico floorpan but unlike other Mexicos it had the 3.7 litre straight-six engine rather than the 4.2 V8.
