This is the Renault Projet 115 'Ontario,' a proposed coupe version of the R16, built by Ghia from c.1963

DBW certainly knows his stuff! ;)

A the risk of sounding picky, a small point.  The correct name should be 'Projet 115' without the 'c', as it's French.  Excuse moi mon ami!

I thought you might pick me up on that one, but DBW called it 'Project 115' so I did too.  I thought perhaps it was because the Italian Carrozzeria Ghia were working for a French company Renault, so they used English as the common language and called it Project 115 rather than Projet 115.

If you can show me it spelt the French way somewhere then I'll change it (but no more points on offer!)

His book "The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Automobiles" was one of the first book I took and the one that showed me that I knew only a small part of the makers (at that time)...
