So, it is a 'Bobcat' Ford by Ghia. What else do you need to know? A number or a certain name?

Well, I have seen it referred to as a 'Bobcat' but that's only part of the name.  Wasn't that a series of proposals anyway?
There seem to be 3 names for it; one of them is actually on the rear number plate and it's not 'Bobcat' (I've painted it out) but it also has another official name that went on to be used for another car; these 2 names together are generally what the car was known as and neither of them is 'Bobcat'.

I want both those other names!

Mini-Mite?

No.
One is a well-known Ford name and the other was used on another Carrozzeria-designed Ford concept.

Actually, thinking about it the Carrozzeria-designed concept wasn't Ford-badged, although it was based on Ford mechanicals.
It was also by Ghia.

Was it project-named "Torino"? Have a lot more possible names in stock.   :-\

It seems actually Ford-badged. Four letters on the hood?

Yes, it is Ford-badged but no, Torino was not its name!

Neither, no.
As I said before one of its names is a well-known Ford name and the other was used more than once on a Carrozzeria design which also had Ford connections.

This one seems to have eluded the Pro's too so it's time to consign it to the dreaded Black Hole...

Darn; just seen that I was 16seconds behind PJ on this one!   :(

BTW, those tail lamps look like a straight lift from a Citroen GS!

Capri?

That is indeed one if its names, yes!

Progress indeed!

But it has 2 names as mentioned before - so you've got the one that was a common Ford name, now the other one is the one which was used by Ford's Carrozzeria on more than 1 show car/one-off...

Bad luck Djetset; but it has been there nearly 6 months - and now I get 2 replies within 1 minute!  Weird!

And there's still another name to go so what I propose is that PJ gets 1 point for 'Capri' then whoever gets the other name gets another point.

Don't leave it another 6 months!!

More than once used by Ghia on Ford mechanicals but without Ford badges...
Not Megastar or Probe (Ford badges...)...

Mustela?

Yes!!
This car was indeed called a Ford Capri Mustela - so that's 3 different Mustelas from Ghia!
2 more points to add to your fantastic tally and at last this puzzle can be put out of its misery.
Well done.
