I was waiting to grab this one, but was too slow as usual.
I know that the site where this picture comes from calls it a microcar, but it isn't, is it? As the name suggests, it's a "road tractor" unit, in the sense of a motorised cab for towing trailers and suchlike.
I couldn't find anything else about it, except that the maker was the Hannoversche Fahrzeugfabrik Hoffmann & Co of Laatzen, so it appears not to be connected with Hoffmann, the motorcycle (and very briefly microcar) maker.
It doesn't appear to have been very successful, but it probably didn't help being in the same city as Hanomag, who also made vehicles of this type.
