I have a bit more information in Dutch (which I don't speak, but I know many Puzzlers do so they may be able to translate it for us), so I will scan it in when at home early next week.
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

A slightly edited google translation:  :)

On the 1970 RAI Gazelle Truckbouw showed a small city car with a two-stroke gasoline engine. The construction was mainly of polyester. For access to the two seats the front could be folded forward. The car had a turning radius of only 5 meters and with a length of 1.9 meters it could park almost anywhere.

The city car project did not follow through and the prototype was left standing in a corner of the factory. In 1975, the Gazelle Truckbouw division was taken over by Accles & Pollock BV, which built commercial vehicles under the name Apollo. The prototype was in 1991, along with other parts and rolling stock sold to the former GDR.
