It looks like an Australian Birchfield replica of a Jaguar SS100. Can't pin down the year just from that pic but I'd guess it's post 2000.

Well you are nearly there - the name is correct but the approximate year you gave is incorrect.
Also it was not Australian.
It was based on a one-off built three years before this one was launched as a low production series.
Locked for you until your next reply.

All I'm getting is this...

Quote
The Birchfield Sports is inspired by the famous Jaguar SS100 of the 1930s. Nick Topping created it originally as a one-off in 1982 before Clive Smart of Shapecraft in Northampton subsequently productionised it.

If that's correct then then that would make this particular car a 1985 one, but I've seen ones online claiming to be 2002 models too. From what I can find online about 20 were made.
Also various sources suggest that the Birchfield company were based in Rockingham, Western Australia.

The quote you found is correct - it is a 1985 Birchfield Sports from C.V. Shapecraft, Northampton, UK
A completed car cost 12,000 pounds sterling a staggering amount for the day.
It was also offered as a kit.
The Birchfield was based on a spaceframe chassis and used Jaguar XJ6 mechanicals.
Although it was inspired by the Jaguar SS it wasn't a replica.
Quality was extremely high with its handcrafted aluminium body and chromed brass radiator.
It was withdrawn from sale in 1987 as being too uneconomic to produce.

I should let you in on a small secret - I forgot to erase the builder's name on the wall behind the car!

Well done - another point for you.

Don't think so.
I Googled both Shapecraft and Supreme Classics but didn't get anything about this car!

Well, I've noticed before it works differently according to where you are..
I was a bit surprised not to get there, nevertheless, so thought maybe Woodinsight had left the names there as a bit of a red herring!

All I got for Shapecraft was their lovely old fastback Elans..

It was not done as a red herring more of brain fade in forgetting to eliminate certain details in the image! (as I have done in a few puzzles so far)

I tried, believe me.
But I think I trump you in the senility stakes...
