Full make and model name for a point please (for the car, not the girl!).

Up to the Experts (note girl now less attractive with annoying new watermark across her long legs!)

No (and I don't think they are Alfa lights).

No (and I don't think they are Alfa lights).

You may well be right, it's difficult to tell with the rather fuzzy image.  They looked like Giulia Super lights but if not then maybe they are from a Triumph Dolomite?

Is this device British?

Is this device British (even though it looks awfully Golf-ish around the rear!)?

The tail lights are from a Triumph 1500/Dolomite, and the car has strong British links, but it's not British.

(Sorry - it keeps doing this to me with this new layout - I used the 'modify' button to edit my post but it reposts it, and the Delete button has gone walkabout!)

The Australian Gran Turismoke.
It was a wooden model that never made production.

Good work Oswald, as this is indeed the Gran Turismoke concept, presented by Leyland Australia in 1977.

I have only ever seen this photo of the car, so if anyone else has any ohter images, these will be really good to see.  Thanks.

There was an article in The Mini Experience magazine about a year ago with plenty of old pics.
It appears the model has not survived - it was used up in a wood stove!
