Please forgive the slow response Tackitt, but you are correct.  It is the Gilby-Climax from the early 60s.  Altough you have now moved up to Expert status, and are no longer able to answer Rookie puzzles, I have awarded you the point as you were still a Rookie when you correctly identified the car.
