Can find mentions of this car but nothing to give me the model name - if I am correct then it was at pistonheads and it looked terrible!

You missed the name of the company, which is Star Motors, but I will let you have the point, as it is the new (and awful) Mazda Miata MX-5-based Tifosi Rana RS.  I saw it at Pistonheads too, and almost chocked on my BLT.  I can't believe they actually manged to sell one.  Perhaps Stevie Wonder's dog placed the deposit
