You are on to something here, but it's not quite the name I was looking for.

Sometimes these cars are called Hassan Bentley? Sometimes called Barnato-Hassan Bentley, sometimes just Barnato Hassan. Reg indicates it to be a 6.5 Bentley. Hassan also did some of his own. Wolf Barnato's pad is just down the road and was friends with his recently late daughter. Old No1 Bentley came to her funeral. Probaly nothing to do with Hassan but they did start the Bentley supercharger craze.

" Only 55 Blower Bentleys were built in 1929 and 1930, and they got 175 horsepower out of their blown four-bangers.This Bob Peterson Engineering-built replica has a 400-horsepower blown Rolls-Royce straight eight. "

Well done, it was the Petersen replica information I was looking for, as this is the 6.5-Litre Blower Road Racer.  Here's a rear view of it to enjoy too

In 1934 Woolf Barnato commissioned Walter Hassan to make a Brooklands single seater basedon his Speed Six 6.5 litre Bentley.  the car was named the Barnato-Hassan.  In 1935 the engine was replaced by an 8 litre Bentley one and in thisform the Barnato-Hassan took the Brooklands lap record which was later beaten by Cobb's Napier Railton. The Barnato-Hassan survived the war and was fitted with a two-seater sports car body then later converted back into single seater form.
After building the Barnato-Hassan, wally built a similar car around 4.5 litre Bentley parts for E W W Pacey which was named the Pacey-Hassan.
(the above is a summary of what Denis Jenkinson wrote in The Sports Car Pocket Book)

So, the Barnato-Hassan was never supercharged.  Although Jenks does not specifically say so, I would expect that the Pacey-Hassan was based on a 'blower' Bentley.

Incidentally the charismatic 4.5 litre 'blower' Bentley never won a major race!

The P-H was and remains unsupercharged. We handicappers treasure the story that Wally Hassan built it with a thick compression-reducing plate under the cylinder block which he reduced the thickness of in stages thus improving the power after each Brooklands handicap race without changing the declared specification of the P-H. This was said to have kept the car one jump ahead of Ebblewhite (Brooklands' timekeeper/handicrapper) for a couple of seasons but I've never taken the trouble to research the truth of that.

The supercharged 4½ Bentley may never have won a major race, but second in the 1929 French Grand Prix was pretty good going!

The special that is the subject of this thread seems to be a modern copy of a car that never existed.
