Know what this one is?
-
Up to the Experts.
-
Cooper?
-
possibly a reworked alpine from 63/64
-
Not a Cooper, and no Alpine connection that I know of.
-
A Lola? Interesting that the suspension leading arms and trailing arms connect at a common point on the side of the chassis
-
No, not a Lola.
-
But it's a Formula Junior contender, right?
-
Not 100% sure, but I think so.
-
Defunct or still active?
-
Defunct.
-
Racing on to the Pros...
-
I know which Site I've seen this pic on, but I cant retrace my steps to find it again.
I've tried..... :D
-
Keep on trying... ;)
-
A GRAC ?
-
Swedish? (colors :) ) If yes, maybe Swebe?
-
Not a GRAC, and I don't believe that it's Swedish either.
-
British?
-
No, not British.
-
Maybe French? Renault engined Formule France car?
-
If I remember right, there was a connection to Belgium.
( the car was built there or it was found there...)
-
It's a Go-Kart without an engine. :P
-
Lova built by Jef Dujourie of Belgium?
-
Correct. The point is yours.
-
That car on your guess the car is the one I am researching. Its a Dkw 100cc works engine Lova. Chassis number 4. Is being rebuilt and should be back on the historic formula junior soon!!!
If anyone knows where I can get historic photos, I love to know..
Many Thanks
Paul

I have three shots (not very sharp) on my HD - see below.
There may be better photos somewhere on the web or of course in the books on Formula Junior.
-
I took these photos of the Lova today:
-
Here's the car at the 1960 Eifelrennen meeting. Duncan Rabagliati reckons there were 3 Lova cars built, and I think these photos cover all of them - the front-engined car (which has no connection with this puzzle!), the 1960 rear-engined car, still DKW engined, and the even later car which seems to have a DKW motor, but in period was Ford-engined.
