A very precise and careful answer needed for this one. There's something special about it, so what is it?

The Rookies have all gone to sleep on this one, so can the Experts make some noise?

Yes, it is a Ford Escort, but that would be far too easy, so I need more specific information as to what this particular Escort is.

Yup. RS2000 is much too easy as well, so that's not the answer I'm looking for..

No, not that either, and to save the blushes of any other Experts, I can also add that it is not an Escort RS1600 or BDA-engined Twin Cam Sport.

It's left hand drive and that looks like a french roundabout sign in the background.
I'm going to take a wild guess and say there is a modified Sierra Cosworth drivetrain under there?

"mid-engined?"
"Not really"
Had it been conventional front-engined you wouldn't have used the words "not really" so it can't be normal front-engined
It isn't rear-engined.
So is it twin engined?

It's not really front, mid or rear-engined, as it is (a big clue coming up!) as it is not piston-powered. Hope this helps

If it would have an alternative engine, it still would be in the front or elsewhere in the car. Unless it has an electric motor in each wheel..

A very good point. As I understand it, the power is placed in the front; centre and rear of the car;
