You could be on to something..!  Know who made it, and what it's called?
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Nope - and just hit a dead end with the company it is outside - they were based in didcot, oxfordshire and have ceased trading so their website is blank....

Some more searching required I think...

Time for the pros to slice this one up (and yes, it really does have a make and model name!)

Well, unless the website I just found is a complete spoof (which it could well be), it seems that this vehicle is called the Prêt , made by a company called Waspy (or is it just Wasp?) which specialises in wacky Minis, particularly as publicity vehicles.

It appears to have been commissioned by the sandwich shop chain Prêt à Manger, the design being based on a cardboard sandwich box which they had patented. Underneath is a 1997 1300-cc Mini. I'm not sure when it was made. According to DVLA in the UK, it was last licensed on the road in 2006, and has now been exported from the UK.

At last!  Well done Tom, your answer is perfect in every detail, as this is the 'Mini-based' Waspy Pret.  You get the point.
