Two points at stake here- one for the make and model, and another for whoever built the body.  I don't know myself so i'll need to see proof!

Ah, then it should be an easy point for a rookie!

I think this lovely car deserves it's own puzzle, unless you disagree?

It does. It was. It was solved. Now it's merged.

D'oh!

Can you add 'Jaguar' to the title to avoid this happening again....?

The car still exists!
It turned up at a Club LVAA meeting at Lipsheim (Bas-Rhin) on the back of a transporter in September.
Needs some restoration but it looks complete.
Not sure if it was being offered for sale though.

I always thought it already was in restoration as I've seen it in poor condition a couple of years ago. When you say you saw it in September this year they obviuousely didn't very much to improve its state.
These pics date from 2007! (somewhere in France I guess)

I haven't seen the car personally but took the photo from my weekly automotive paper that came out on Thursday.
I am assuming the car was there on the back of the transporter unrestored (even the same writing on the windscreen).
The photograph was just one of several taken at this event.
