Glas Isard Ranch by Frua and Italsuisse.

That's correct (apart from the spelling of Isar..)!
And when does it date from, for that point?
Locked for your reply of course.

I am going to have to agree with hondast and say that ISARD is correct.
As an example- Glas sold the Goggomobil T700 as the Glas ISAR and also the ISARD depending on the market.
The Goggomobil T250 and TS20 were also known as an "ISARD" in some markets as well, usually South American.
I have heard any number of tales of why but most stories revolve around "ISAR" or "GOGGO" having an unintended meaning in some export markets and so "ISARD" was used.
I have yet to hear what the "unintended meaning" was, if anything at all.

ISARD ARGENTINA S.A.C.I.F. these cars manufactured under license, but in the case of Ranch believe me was wrong. The basis of that car is an Isar T700 not an Isard T700.

Glas Isar Ranch '64.

That's not actually the year I have it as appearing but I will check my facts..
Glas Isar was a model range in the early 1960's, I believe named after the River Isar in Bavaria.
Have no idea why they added a 'D' for Argentinian production, but any European Glas would simply be 'Isar'.

Still not the answer I have but I haven't been able to check yet (I got this out of a book).
Will check as soon as I can to make sure I have my facts right!

OK, I've checked on the net and seems the info in my book is incorrect (it states 1963) as this vehicle was first shown at Turin in November 1964.  It was the first of 4 slightly different prototypes and this one was, as you say, Pietro Frua's personal vehicle at his Monaco house.

So one point for you and it's Solved!

Known also on some markets as Grobmotorix. Probably also a matter of "unintended meaning"? :D
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Sure! :D

These fonts called "PORSCHE 911" have only this "X"-type you can see in the picture and it strongly resembles a "K".

Does anybody know a good translation of german "grobmotorisch" into english, by the way?

Clumsy / Awkward

the word has do with your body muscle-motor skills not automotive.
