Oh my God! Thank you Autopuzzles! I remembered fleetingly seeing some pictures of this car on Spanish magazine Autopista back in '89 and I had been looking for this car almost since I started using the internet, with no success. I knew it was a March, but could not remember the name SCAR. I did search for "March" in AP when I joined, but got too many results and didn't manage to locate the correct one. Now that Carnut's posting has brought the thread back up I have finally found it and can put this search to rest.
I was a kid back then and I remembered the car's left and right side being different, but I thought it was done like that on purpose, i.e. that it had been deliberately designed as an assymmetrical car. That seemed to me like an extremely cool idea. Now that I see the rear end photo, I realize that it was probably just the common practice of presenting two different design proposals in one model, making each half slightly different. However, if you see the front end (below), there is a certain continuity to the curves that makes it seem like the assymmetry is intentional. I actually like it that way.
