ty16 looks like a De Dion-Bouton 8HP from around 1903/04.
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Let me share my problems with "ty16". The body and the wheels don't align. Wire-wheels and that type of body don't match. Plus, I have waded through the websites of 150+ American museums recently, and I can't recall this car.
So the question is: - is this a classic car or a modern car clothed in the shell of an old car?

No problem,I really don“t know if this car is in a museum because I believe that the background is a shop or an exposition
It“s a real veteran car 1900-1902!! And Three were built,I hope this can help ;)

Well, it looks completely like a De Dion-Bouton 8HP for me, so maybe it was built on a license?

De Dions were licence-built in the USofA in reasonable numbers.
I agree it looks like a DDB, but so did a lot of European odds and ends like Gladiator, Napoleon, etc. so why not a never-before-seen US one?
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Maybe a Peerless? I think early models were built on DDB license?

Yes! powered by a water-cooled 4-1/2 hp De Dion engine

"so why not a never-before-seen US one?" ...I think so! :)

Not a famous name like Peerless
