 :shakehead:

Autotecnica - Bellasi - Bonetti - CRM - Lavazza - Nigiopa - Renzini - Repetto - Spi-Car - Tagliani - Toni Kart

I know it's hard.. so a little clue. The brand is just the surname of the guy that built the car. It narrows the possibilities...

faksta

Then my next two guesses will be Giuliani and Paparusso.

als15

And Giuliani is the correct name!

And the same was for me when starting to compile the Formula 850 manufacturers list for my book: a new world all to be discovered...

Quiz really cute! A question, but in Italy this book will be 'sold?
I'm Italian and if anything I interese the publisher, the author and the official title.

Of course. And I'm Italian too and hence the book will be in Italian language.
I'm going to give the files to the printer just in the next few days, so I think it will be available about in mid February.

PCR

I recently stumbled upon als15's  list of Formula 850 manufacturers.  My interest in them is a bit self serving.  I have an old Italian formula car and do not know what it is.  For awhile it appeared to me that it was that old failed Abarth SE-08 F-3 car, but unfortunately it is not.  My best guess is that I have an early DeSanctis Formula 850, meaning about 196.  They made them until 1968.  I really want to find out what I have before I decide the best way to rebuild it.  The car is in pieces, some of which I am still collecting.  I have a bunch of pictures of the engine, trans, and body.  I will gladly share them with anyone, just get me an email address.  The engine seems to be a stock FIAT 850, which is driving a FIAT 500 transmission.  The starter location seems very modified as it now sits on top of the bell housing.  I live in New Jersey in the USA, and we do not see many little Italian formula cars here and I would like to converse with anyone that has an interest or can help me.   Thanks,  Paul

Hello PCR, and welcome on Autopuzzles!

If you are interested in my book, you can buy it here: http://www.ilcammello.it/Libri/fuoriserie/FS12/fs12_e.htm

If you need help in identifying your car, you can either send me the pictures by e-mail or post them here, where a lot of enthusiasts will try to help you.

PCR

Hi, this is PCR and I am interested in your book, mostly for what it has on Formula 850, so I will visit the link you offered.  I have a bunch of pictures of the engine, transmission, and chasis, that I am happy to share, but I need an email address to forward them to.  I am sure there is a way to do this directly to autopuzzles as well, but I do not know how to do this yet.  Please direct me.  Thanks  Paul

You can add them as attachment at your reply message here on Autopuzzle (just use the section + Attachments and other options) below the text box when you reply.
Or you can send to my personal e-mail address, that you already have, or to the publisher one info@ilcammello.it, that's me again.
