Sorry for the inconveniences, but on this puzzle it seems I had a complete black-out.
The body of this car is
not a factory built, but made by coachbuilder Rudy of Delmenhorst/Germany.
Summary of the text:
from beginning of 1938 there was a new regulation in Germany for cars up to 250 cc with a limited speed of 20 km/h. Requirement was a driving licence class 4 for people older than 16 years. Both sons of C.W. Borgward named Peter (*1937 †1989) and Claus (*1938 †1999) passed the test yet in 1953 obviousely with a special permission.
Each of the boys received such a car Christmas 1952. Equipped with a scaled-down 8 HP 250cc engine taken from the Lloyd 300 60 km/h were possible.
As I said the cars were bodied on a Lloyd floorpan by coachbuilder Rudy famous for a couple of Goliath racing cars and record breakers.
The tiny coupés were stylistically an outlook of the fourthcoming Hansa 1500 racing coupés.
Electrics and the interior were assembled at the Goliath factory in Bremen.
Whereabouts is unknown.
