During production it had two different kind of engines from different manufacturers. Though built for different vehicles these engines were technically not unusual.

Yes and no. I suppose the first engine wasn't originally made for driven vehicles at all.

I hope I can also reach such dizzy heights one day.

As a non-German speaker I have been able to translate a certain amount of information on this vehicle as follows:

Imperia Motorvierrad
Constructed by Dr. Ing. Rolf Schroedter for Motorradfabrik Imperia of Bad Godesberg in 1924/25.
It was fitted with a Sperrholzkarosserie (plywood) body and was fitted initially with a 500 ccm-Zweizylindermotor from Breuer. This was later changed to a Blackburne-Motor.
It could reach 100kmh/h and weighed 160kg.

The vehicle was notable for it's clean, simple construction at a very low cost of materials.

I wished this one had remained a little longer! I took Grobmotorix' annotation (and unintended red herring!) that there was only one Imperia car — the ill fated streamliner.http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=13973.0 Coincidentally I stumbled upon Imperia a few days ago and spotted the "Motorvierrad" which had been the other car of that company.
Reading your translation I guess you have the same magazine that I have.
