Meinst Du, nur Du darfst lustig sein? ;)

He was none of the Maisch brothers, but was related to Maico.
(to a minor part)

No.
As I tried to explain in my previous post I guess he won't be mentioned in the history of Maico as he only did a second role job there.
He actully had a driver job, though.  ;)

Obviousely he worked at another not car related company as a mechanic later.
Further the source reports that he started on minor racing events, though I can't find him listed anywhere on the internet (so far).
Seems he was more a kind of hobby driver.

Here you see him at the wheel in one of his other vehicles.

Next clue will be the greyed surface lifted..

It reminds me of a 750cc BMW engined car which Sigifredo Iori raced in Eritrea.

I believe the builder of our puzzle car never was in Eritrea during his lifetime...

Just out of curiousity before I lose myself in Google: are there any info available online?
https://rareandunique.media - Rare&Unique Vehicles magazine
http://magyarjarmu.hu - detailed Hungarian motoring history (Hungarian language)
http://automuseums.info - motoring museums' guide

Yes, but it's not that easy to find. I did detect it by sheer luck.

The race car was built by Wilhelm Moser in 1952. He was test driver for Maico.

Pure coincidence! I was fascinated by a rear view of the ultra-rare Lloyd LC 300 Coupé, when I suddenly found this one in the same gallery.  ;D

It's too late, so it doesn't matter. But I was referring to the second car you posted, with the previously blanked out number plate.

Does it appear on a search? I may be wrong, but think I've never seen it here.

I thought it was faksta's car you've had in mind.  :-\
